In this talk, we investigate some iterative methods for solving aclass of variational inequalities with accretive mappings. First of all, we recall and review shortly classical gradient projection methodand Yamada's hybrid steepest decent method for solving monotonetype variational inequality problems, then we point out some gaps appearing in Chidume's monograph[Geometric Properties of Baach Spaces and Nonlinear Iterations. Lecture Notes in Mathemat-ics 1965. New York:Springer-Verlag, 2009] and extend the relativeresults of Chidume's monograph to more general cases, in particular, we extend the results of Yamada [The hybrid steepest descentmethod for the variational inequality problem over the intersectionof fixed point sets nonexpansive mappings, in Inherently Parallel Algorithms in Feasibility and Optimization and Their Applications(DButnariu, Y Censor and s Reich, Eds), North-Holland, Amsterdam.473-504(2001). Xu and Kim [Convergence of hybrid steepest decent methods for variational inequalities. J. Optim. Theory Appl.19,185-2012003), 1emoto and Tokahashi [Strong convergence theorems by a hybrid seepest decent method for countable nonexpansivemappings in Hilbert spaces. Sci. Math. Jpn.(Online)557-570(2008)]and others from real Hilbert spaces to the more general scting otuniformly smooth Banach spaces.
六、报告人简介:周海云教授,中国人民解放军陆军工程大学博士生导师。九次到韩国庆尚大学、庆南大学与首尔大学讲学。担任国家自然科学基金评审专家、教育部学位与研究生教育发展中心评审专家、河北省科学技术进步奖评审专家、江西省科学技术进步奖评审专家、浙江省科学技术进步奖评审专家、河北师范大学兼职博导、沧州师范学院特聘教授、美国数学评论评论员、《非线性分析》、《数学分析及其应用》等50多个国际数学期刊审稿人、《数学学报》、《数学年刊》等20多个国内数学期刊审稿人、美国数学学会会员、欧洲数学联盟会员、河北数学会常务理事。2000.12 获军队科技进步二等奖一项,2008.12 获天津市自然科学三等奖一项,2014.12获全军军队院校育才奖金奖一项。承担并完成国家自然科学基金项目3项,承担并完成军队科研项目5项;出版学术专著四部,其中两部在美国与德国出版;发表学术论文256篇,其中被SCI 检索193篇。
